I make art for the leftists, the anarchists, the socialists. I make art to support my community. I make art to support all of the disenfranchised people in this country and around the world. Artists have always been the voices to speak for the people. My cross-stitching is no different. Sometimes we just need to look at cute animals to take our minds off the horrors that plague us. Other times, we need our art to make a difference; to send a message. That message is this: We are not going back. We will not let the fascists win. We will not surrender. Our voices will be heard.
